Hello !
The September 15 email sent by Amadeus Management « Making our hybrid model work for all in France » has certainly not been unnoticed!
As many of you have reported, the email text suggests that the hybrid teleworking mode of 60% will no longer be possible and, at the beginning of 2024, everyone, at 60% of telework, will have to adopt a maximum of 50% instead.
On September 14, Management convened the Union Organizations, with 1 day’s notice, to present the amendment to the modified Teleworking agreement, with the introduction of the 50% hybrid mode.
Once again, the written communication from Management to Employees does not reflect what was presented to the Union Organizations on September 14 (with 1 day’s notice)
However, the message conveyed to the Unions by Management was to be able to follow the recommendations that Luis Maroto made last July.
Namely :
- Maintain the monthly flexibility that exists today
- Add the choice of 50% in hybrid with maintenance of the other 3: 20%, 40% and 60%.
- Discuter avec tous les membres de son équipe pour arriver au 50% .
- Discuss with all members of your team to reach 50%.
Before toughening the rules, wouldn’t it be more appropriate to do everything possible to ensure the proper application of the existing rules?
- During the negotiations, Management presented us with the figures for adherence to the different hybrid working arrangements. By not considering people in “Full teleworking mode”, this should already lead to an on-site presence of 50% (2.49 days per week)
=> It is therefore more a question of respecting the attendance commitments made and of organizing ourselves according to the business needs.
- A preliminary phase of communication / awareness / and verification of actual attendance (outside holiday periods) would have been useful.
- During certain events, for example PI planning Event*, it is difficult to have all employees in the same area due to the lack of office space.
- The capacity of restaurants is no longer suitable in the event of large crowds.
As already communicated in our newsletter 125, CFDT Amadeus is committed to the current teleworking arrangements and the flexibility we benefit from, today.
- Presence onsite must be useful to the collective and to the business.
- Flexibility also allows the individuals to have a good balance between their private and professional lives
- It is everyone’s responsibility to respect their commitments
